Buses
The city center of Murcia is small, the best way if you want to see the sights is on foot.
Besides, Murcia has buses that reach the main places of the city; it’s the easiest way to travel around the town centre and the suburbs. There is no a specific tourist travel card but you can buy a cardboard pass in the buses or the tram stations. That pass allows you to use trams and buses. As an alternative, there is a double-decker tourist bus that shows you around the most interesting places.
Tram
The tram is the quickest way to get the northern area of Murcia from the city center, where there are big shopping centers and Murcia University.
The service is structured in two blocks: the main service connect Nueva Condomina Stadium with Murcia University; the other service connects Terra Nature to the Catholic University of San Antonio.
You can buy a cardboard pass that allows you to travel on trams or buses. It is the cheapest way to travel in tram by bus.
The tram runs from 7:00 am until 11:30 pm.
Bikes
In Murcia there are quite a lot of cycle lanes and bikes that you can hire. You can buy a pass if you will use it more than a week or you can pay only for a day. It’s the healthiest way to discover the city.
